What is everyone planning on bringing to the test as examples??

Here are mine:
Mulan
Esther (book/character in the Bible)
Les Miserables
The Hunger Games
Walt Disney

I know they are all a little pop culture which seems to be looked down upon as examples on CC, but I received pretty high scores on essays with these examples when I wrote essays for SAT prep classes. I found that it is easier for me to write well with examples like these. I scored about a 10-11 with them and I hope I will score about the same on the actual test tomorrow! And good luck to everyone taking it today or have already taken it!

I made up stuff for the essay haha.
Who are they to track down my imaginary cousins and uncles? haha
Pop culture references are good too, but you can literally make up “facts” for the essay, so I didn’t go through the trouble of planning for the essay.

Best of luck!

I strongly doubt that you can score well on the essay with purely unreliable personal examples.

Anyways, I think I’ll have in mind:
(Literature)
Of Mice and Men
To Kill a Mockingbird
Les Miserables
Oedipus the King
Romeo and Juliet
Animal Farm
Ethiopia

(History)
MLK/Civil Rights Movement
American Revolution
French Revolution
WWII/Holocaust
Age of Exploration
Joan of Arc
Civil War
Immigration discrimination

I don’t use personal experience examples because they are the least credible.

Actually, quite a few of the exemplary essays provided by College Board have personal examples…

How was direct hits in January SAT
