***January 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

how many more hours until they’re posted (california time) ?
i’m so nervous!!
do you guys think you’ll be retaking it?

2am

I have seen 12 essays with no conclusion at all.

If you directly answer the prompt and support your answer thoroughly and eloquently, you do not need a conclusion to receive a top score. It may help to tie everything together with a sentence or two at the end of your essay, but it is by no means necessary to do so.

…

On a side note, it is extremely unlikely that a high school would have access to a student’s SAT score before the official score release date. The College Board does not send out score reports until a few days after the scores are released online.

Yeah our school’s naviance has them early

Does anyone remember what the question with “individual agencies” was like?

In terms of the predicted curves, what you think you got, and your actual scores… Whatcha think?

My guess is that I got a 2270.

M: 800
CR: 730
W: 740 10 essay

What are the predicted curves?

so will they be posted by midnight…or?

What do you think the range of my composite score would be with 5 to 6 wrong on CR, 2 wrong and 2 omitted on Math, and 2 wrong with a 10 essay for writing.

I just want a 2200.

2150 - 2200

@relativelysmart Look on this website: <a href=“SAT Score Calculator - The College Panda”>http://■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■.com/sat-score-calculator/</a>. It gives a really good range of what scores are.

@Richcao

Math: -1 780ish or so, +/- 10
CR: -2 800, -3 770, -4 740/750
W: -1 11/12 800, -2 12 800

I just checked my son’s Naviance Account and his SAT scores have posted there already, too.

Dang is my school the only one that hasn’t posted them on Naviance…

I don’t even know what Naviance is… I don’t have that.

My school has Naviance but is super lazy with updating scores… the only scores they’ve posted are my AP tests from two years ago.

@indianboy2400 thx

Nobody’s Naviance has the Jan 25th scores. You are not missing out on anything. In a few hours you will have your scores and in a few days at the earliest your high school will have them as well.

My counselor has posted them:

CR: 800
Math: 740
Writing: 670
Essay: 8

This means you all can be pretty sure Math curve is -1 770, -2 740.

I aced CR.

Writing was brutal, I only missed one or two and yet my 8 bumped me down a ton! Going to work on my essay writing skills to get a solid superscore for March SAT.
