Soozievt, (I realize this shouldn’t be on the U of Arts thread) Sorry! I find it curious that on one hand you relegate AMDA to the general threads and then suggest Circle and CAP to MTMOM2010. I believe that AMDA gets a bad rap. My D avoided it for over a year because of ‘bad threads’ and when she decided she needed a break from academics and performance together, she begrudgingly explored AMDA, and Circle plus a few other 2 year programs. She is at AMDA now, and has been since October. She loves it very much, and after being in two other performance program colleges, she has found her niche. She has had a few instructors who have seen something strong in her and have gotten wonderful results in such a short time. At Rising Stars, or what ever the program is called that your D was talented enough to perform in, had more kids from AMDA than any other place, if I am remembering correctly. It once more is really all about know what you need and who you are. Sorry to sound grumpy… get tired of kinda dissing AMDA.

MTMOM2010, if you have any specific question about AMDA, please feel free to PM me.
