January SAT essay Question

Okay so the essay prompt as u all know, was about opinions.
Now, I had a nasty cold when I took it, and I freaked out when I couldn’t think of any examples (Now i can think of like 10)

so i chose MLK and oprah

i talked about how when they first started, they didn’t have a very good upbringing but they still spoke from their heart so they could get there message across.
so basically i said their opinions didn’t come from mostly knowledge but from their heart and mind and people still listened.

mehhh, did i screw up? or does that answer the prompt?

holy crap was that really the prompt!?

does everyone in everywhere to took the SAT yesterday got the same essay prompt???

No, the prompt was

should opinions be taken serious from everyone? or should we listen to the opinions that are backed up by knowledge and spoken from intellectual individuals and so on.

i’m just wondering if i went way off from what they were asking.

No one else had this prompt?

My prompt was about external pressures and whether they make you more productive. Or atleast something along those lines. I talked about Andrew Carnegie and about school.

what the hell?

are u an international?

lol ima laugh if i’m the only one who got this prompt

Mine was about pressure, also.

I wrote about Harry Potter, and Pride and Prejudice.

I got the same prompt. i gave examples of industrial revolution, HP and something i made up. lol
I’m not an international btw.

same, prompt about productivity, i talked about the joint effort in haiti, school, and soldiers in iraq

stuntburn, you are not alone; I got that prompt  I liked it a lot, but I probably came off as arrogant since I said that only well-informed opinions should be taken seriously. But oh well :)
