<p>i was thinking about taking elementary japanese. i was wondering if anyone had any feedback about the class. i couldnt find the professors on ratemyproffessor.com the three are Kumiko Tsuji, Yuki Sakarai, Matsuko Levin.</p>
<p>I can tell you Yuki Sakurai is an excellent teacher. She teaches all first elementary Japanese classes.
Class is a lot of fun (it’s all about listening to the teacher and participating, and everyone is forced to participate which is good).
I never needed to take any notes in class, since everything is in the book.
It’s not very homework heavy, but a lot of studying, depending on how much attention you pay in class, and how well you grasp the language.
Make sure you always bring your book…</p>
