Couldn’t really find anything on here, but does anyone know what Yale’s EALL is like with the Japanese track? I’m looking at that and Economics.
Yale is really one of the best places to study EALL, largely because of its commitment to study abroad. Specifically, Yale has the Light Fellowship, which allows students studying East Asian languages to study abroad for anywhere between one summer up to a summer+2 semesters at prestigious universities in Asia, all for free. Beyond language courses, the EALL major is pretty flexible and can be tailored to your interests, with good Japanese history/culture offerings in the anthropology and history departments.
