Jay Leno's Psychic

So I am not a late night person. i am asleep by 11pm, sometimes sooner But I was up later one night this week and watched Leno. The bit with the woman who impersonates a psychic was hysterical. Does he run that often? I can’t stop laughing days later. She sets up a portable booth, dresses up, and is a riot. She told a young guy that after reading his palms she knew he was single and needed to take a rest due to all the wear and tear. She asked another guy for his ID then his credit card (she is free by the way) and then after copying them in front of him without him even protesting, she predicted that he would going to be the victim of identity fraud. Finally, just as a gentleman sits down her phone rings. She says she has to take it. She then has a conversation --well makes noises–and it is clear she has “another job” besides being a psychic. The guy in the booth tells her she did a GREAT job and asks for her number…

What a great comedy act.

It shows people will end up believing what they want to believe - the most important tool these sham artists, i.e. psychics, have at their disposal.
