<p>i know its early but i don’t want to lose out chances into transferring to a 4 year school but this fall will be my 1st year at the JC level and i want some advice on transferring to a 4 year. I want to know at what time should i start sending out transfer application’s to 4 year schools. i know not right now but i dont want to be too late if i want to get in the very next fall or spring once i get my 2 year degree</p>

<p>Well, if you will be transferring after earning an AA at your JC, I’d suggest early your last or second-to-last term (i.e. Spring Semester or Winter Quarter of your second year).</p>

<p>I am transferring from a CC (Montgomery College) to Georgetown University. I would be happy to answer some questions. I am assuming you want to transfer after your 2nd year of JC (junior standing). For me, I send my the 2nd part of my transfer application January of the matriculation year (i.e. I submitted my application january 2008 for the fall 2008 semester). I would suggest sending Part I of the application as soon as you start your 2nd year of JC.</p>
