LOL, no way my D would wear something that says “apple bottoms” on her butt! I thought it was just our problem, but it sounds like quite a few posters have had to deal with the same issue!

Jean makers: are you listening? Here is a mostly unexplored market for ya!

try Joe’s provocateur jeans. modern and great colors, although the price is in the range of seven and citizen’s. these are good for shorter girls, the length is about 30 in.

Thanks to all for the suggestions! I’ve never heard of some of these, such as Buckle. But I will definitely check them out and report back…when I accumulate the necessary cash, ha ha.

Thank you all CC posters who suggested Joe’s Honey jeans. This is a rare find - a jean style that fit my rear so well! The $50 price at Nordstrom Rack was a bit more than I would normally pay for a pair of jeans, but they felt sooo comfortable, I could not resist.

Sprinters/jumpers/gymnasts all have those big fast-twitch muscles in the butt and thighs and no hips to speak of. My D is wearing her baby brother’s hand-me-up size 29" Lucky jeans and cords. Lucky is pricey, but the fit can’t be beat. A sales person there suggested that she try boys’ pants. They come in regular and short lengths.

Someone else mentioned Express - I think the cut is “Stella.” Whenever we are close to an Express, I always buy a pair. I will check out the Joe’s Honey Jeans - do they come in “short?”
