Kidnapping can include any time you have a person on your custody and they can’t readily leave. He took girls to his private island, had girls on his private jet, and in his various houses. I am not sure if he ever brought Florida girls to NYC for instance, but if he brought them to Little St. James (“Orgy Island”), then it’s a good bet he had no qualms about transporting them across state lines. A 15 year old girl brought from Florida to NYC and “kept” in his townhouse would I think count as kidnapping, since it would be difficult for her to extricate herself from that situation. Even if the girls didn’t realize at tee time that they were “kidnapped” or “trafficked”. They knew they had gotten themselves into something and they had a hard time getting out of it.
The ramifications are going to be huge: for the political class, for financial elites, and for the British royal family.

It does seem that renowned Harvard Law professor and top criminal defense attorney , Alan Dershowitz, is rigorously defending his name. He goaded one of the victims, the Virginia Giuffre, to sue him and she moved ahead on a lawsuit against this famous attorney. Will Dershowitz take the Fifth Amendment in court?

and the infamous Claus Von Bulow, got off on appeal due to Dershowitz’s legal work.
Dershowitz also wrote a public letter to the Pulitzer Prize committee urging them not to consider Julie K. Brown’s work for the prize. He called her work “fake news and shoddy journalism.” Powerful people are trying to discredit this story from all angles.

Vicky Ward was tasked by Vanity Fair to write about Epstein back in 2003. The parts of her story about “the girls” were taken out by her editor, Graydon Carter. She also felt intimidated by Epstein, since he was so furious at her for wanting to write about some of his victims.
She went so far to hire security to guard her newborn premie twins in the NICU, since he kept asking about them.

It claims that Dershowitz admits to "massages with his wife present at Epsteins mansions ". Are there no massage therapists in Cambridge MA anymore? Dershowitz has admitted to the massage but said he “kept his underwear on”. Ugh. He wants the 2000 pages of documents in the Guiffre/Maxwell case to be released because he claims it will exonerate him. And he was on TV last night claiming that he had a “perfect sex life”, compared to David Boies (???) because he had only had sex with one woman since he met Epstein all those years ago.

One of the victims, Jennifer Araoz, has spoken up on TV. Her story is a typical story of a child victim groomed by a sexual predator.
She says one of Epstein’s procurers befriended her outside her high school, asking about her life, telling her about a kind man who would help her achieve her dreams of being an actress. Araoz, a beautiful 14-year-old who was particularly vulnerable because her father had recently died of AIDS, fell for it. After a few meetings with the procurer “friend,” she agreed to go to Epstein’s house.
The grooming continued: for the first few times, Epstein just talked to her, saying that he just wanted to help her, feigning interest in her life, pretending he’d help her with her career. He gave her money each time. Then the “massages” began. Eventually, after some number of visits and some number of “massages,” he violently raped her. She left and never went back. She didn’t tell anyone about her rape for a couple of years, but she left her magnet school and went to a different one.

I remember being a naive, vulnerable 14-year-old girl. Maybe some of you remember being like that too. I believed stories I wouldn’t now believe. Luckily, I was not a beautiful girl and I was never the victim of a predator, but there’s a place deep in hell for child rapists.

I don’t believe a child can give consent. I too hate the term underage woman. These were children, vulnerable children who most likely fell victim to promises of fortune and fame. For the life of me I can’t imagine protecting this guy. Was he supposedly charming or charismatic? All I’ve ever heard about him was his Lolita express and his island. Hard to believe it’s taken this long to go after him.
Any hippocrite who joined in with him or protected him should be sitting in a cell next to him.
