Hey, I don’t normally put much stock in these “chance me” threads but my curiosity got the better of me

I’m currently a junior at a well-known high school; haven’t written essays/gotten recommendations but I’ll ensure that they’re well-written.

I was wondering if I had minimal chance at the M and T program (considering Chem Engineering and Business or Econ); it’s a great combination of two disciplines that interest me most. While I am open to other programs (and would very much appreciate any suggestions), I was hoping you all could consider the stats that I currently have and let me know what’s up ![]()
I’m also giving my lower end of estimated GPA/scores, :P

Unweighted GPA (my school only uses the last 3 years, since it’s a 3 year high school): 3.83
Top decile (3.9 may be possible to achieve)

SAT: single-sitting 2260, superscore 2330
CR 800 M 770 W 760

Presumably 750+ in SAT II Math II and Chemistry

No APs taken yet, since they are not offered at my school; however, this year, I am taking 4 APs, and the following year 4 as well (covers all the math and science ones, along with econ ones/english)

Major Awards: Honestly, not very many. Spanish National Exam Silver, 4th place at regional engineering, team for JETS (was on Senior A team even as a junior)
Regional Science Fair Gold Award for Presentation

ECs:
Research: Project on Circadian Rhythms at UC, presented in Kyoto, Japan, State-level science fair, and at Grinnell College, identified a new circadian pattern in mammalian species

Project on Alzheimer’s disease: no significant results, learned many computer and programming skills, learned to use various stats softwares such as SPSS and Matlab

Although this research was geared more towards sort-of medicinal/biological research, I did realize that while I loved them, I was much more psyched about everything I’ve been learning in my Chemistry classes and wanted to try my hand at some of that research instead. (By the end of senior year, I will have 7 semesters of chemistry classes ranging from Advanced to AP to Organic and Biochemistry)

This summer, I plan to work in a Chem E lab and continue for about 12 months

Other ECs:
Vice President of my Class Board, which at our school, functions as a fundraising committee. We pay for our own prom, so by the end of senior year, we will have raised over 40,000 dollars. The catch is that our customer range is a measly ~500 students, since we’re basically a bubble-encompassed residential high school. Accordingly, I’ve worked primarily to expand past the school boundaries to sell to people in neighboring areas. So far, we have hit 15K

President of Environmental Club (in conjunction with Chem E research hopefully!), worked with grant money etc => also sponsored environmental education tutoring for middle schoolers in my area

President of statewide student academy of science, only student member of all-adult board. Dealt with schools from around the state in organization of science workshops and the state level science fair

Head tutor in my res hall –> Funnelling this into my own start up business which I have been working on for months. Curriculum development is in the process and we will be using innovative online teaching methods to reach out to students. Also have a job offer for a current student-run SAT tutoring group

To sum up, I think my biggest strength is in interrelating my various activities (I often use some of my tutoring curriculum in developing science workshops; we use it also in the Enviro Club. etc)

Obviously, a lot of my stuff seems pretty tentative and contingent upon how the end results turns out. I was mostly concerned about my GPA; everything else, I’m happy with. I do it because I love it, and I’m confident I can make a case for it when the time comes.
Ethnicity: Asian Indian
Income Bracket: medium, prob not low enough for financial aid

I honestly only ask this because I couldn’t find enough data about M and T on my own to graph anything up for myself.

Thanks for reading
