Jeromy Miles Named Honorable Mention Freshman All-American By The Sporting News

<p>Miles came up with a team-high four turnovers this season </p>

<p>ANNAPOLIS, Md.-Navy safety Jeromy Miles (Sicklerville, N.J.) has been named Honorable Mention Freshman All-American by The Sporting News. </p>

<p>Miles took over the starting job for the injured DuJuan Price in Navy’s third game of the season against Stanford and has started the last 10 games, recording 55 tackles, intercepting two passes and recovering two fumbles. The four turnovers is a team high. </p>

<p>Miles and the rest of the Midshipmen will take on No. 24 Boston College in the Meineke Car Care Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 30. Kickoff is 1 p.m. and the game will be televised nationally with Pam Ward, Mike Gottfried and Jimmy Dykes calling the action. </p>
