Because I kept switching schools, I have very little teachers that know me. I most likely will have 1 good recommendation because one of my high school teachers was also my elementary school teacher (and she likes me), but other than that, I think the other recommendations will be generic.

No EC’s at school whatsoever. I’ve spent every year of high school at a different one; sophomore year I spent it at two. Although my name is on the roster for eco-club freshmen year, science-clubs sophomore year, I did not do anything significant in them, since I kept switching schools (for valid reasons).
No government positions either for same reason. ^

Is there a way I can still be competitive for JHU, despite that they place high importance on recommendations?

Any feedback is appreciated, thanks!
