JHU Premed

Does Johns Hopkins School of Medicine offer some kind of Early Decision Program (EDP) just like Yale and Stanford? Will there still be an interview for EDP? How many usually apply EDP?

In addition, I heard that Johns Hopkins School of Medicine specifically picks a couple of JHU Premed students with OUTSTANDING academic achievements who are in their 3rd year of college/junior year. They are given an “early” admission to JHU SOM. They do not have to prepare for medical school application unless they do not choose to go to JHU School of Medicine…

I don’t think this is an official policy and does not occur every year. But I believe this might be possible picking the best premed students in advance from Johns Hopkins undergrad.
