<p>-currently sophomore @ university of maryland

  • 3.76 GPA
  • have participated extensively in extracurriculars in college (student gov’t, etc)
  • various internships (one on capitol hill)
  • currently assisting a well known professor w/ research
  • a large # of family members are alums
  • was waitlisted when I applied as a freshman, did not accept place on waitlist because I thought JHU would be too expensive and wouldn’t offer me any aid</p>

<p>what major are you appplying for? also jhu offers less aid to transfers than to freshmen.</p>

<p>I’m applying as a poli sci major…I’m not worried about the aid, I’ve talked to my parents and they said that they’ve already saved 2 yrs of tuition by sending me to umd (in state tuition plus merit aid)</p>
