Jim Henson went to Maryland :D

Sorry I know that was random but I thought it was really cool :D

wikipedia had more famous alumni

There actually are a number of famous alumni who attended Maryland. To me, the most famous that I know was Larry David, creator of Seinfeld.

nah nah… co-founder of google also went there

Haha yeah I learned about engineering on the terrapin tour. He created his own major in puppeteering!

The guy who created Underarmour went there too, which explains why the Underarmour logo is on EVERY UMD uniform lol.

underarmor? is that for football and such?

I’m sports illiterate. I uh swim so yeah

Yeah well it’s a material made for atheltic clothes. I believe they make bathingsuits too. They make lots of stuff.

The main athletic gear is supposed to regulate body temperature when someone is exercising. Coldgear retains heat to keep athletes warm in like, cold sports or you can buy heatgear which keeps athletes cool in warm sports.

That’s cool but honestly, google owns the world.

Not that I plan on majoring in Comp. Science, but still.

If you visit, they have a statue of Jim Henson with Kermit the Frog on his shoulder…:)
