hey guys, i want to apply to wharton in 12th. I wanted to know that does taking a lot of Math look good?

Next topic lol.

I also wanted to know if having a job looked good. If it does, when? During the school year or during the summer? Give me reasons as well and dont digress.

Math is definitely a huge plus for wharton…if your school offers calc bc definitely take it…math 2 SAT II is also a plus

as for getting a job…that would help for all schools i guess…i don’t see how it could be a huge pull/push factor in terms of admission tho…work experience is still great to polish up your resume

If you want to get a job just to get into Wharton…I don’t know how good of a chance you will have… Usually adcoms can see right through that you are doing stuff just to get in.

That being said, having work experience is always a plus and it is never hurts to have more math classes under your belt. But you also have to figure in if you have the extra time to work…with all your coursework, E/C, etc. Concentrating on a few activities is better…
