Job opportunities for the Computer Science Major in the business world?

Hello,

I have a Psychology degree, and I’m back in school right now working of my second bachelor’s in Computer Science. I’m curious to know what kind of job opportunities are there available for the Computer Science Major in the business world?

I have an interest in Marketing but haven’t taken any courses since it’s not part of my degree plan.

Thank you!

What do you mean by “back in school”? Did you attend a college after high school, earn a degree in psych, and then enroll in another college to study CS?

If so, you should probably study business if you’re interested in marketing. A CS degree is only helpful if you’re going into trading (especially HFT), IBD (almost any major can get in), IT management, tech entrepreneurship (i.e. start-ups), or tech consulting. For marketing however, a CS degree is pretty useless (unless your coursework focuses on graphic design or media systems).
