Job or Learn a sport?

This summer, I have registered for 3 classes. 2 of which are online, and one that meets Monday to Thursday mornings. It is a one unit PE class. I really want to learn to play soccer. I suck at sports before, so I never learned even ONE SPORT. It’s my own personal goal. Should I do it? or should I focus on getting an internship or part-time job?

I would go for the job, having some money in your pocket is always a good thing.

Do you need the money you would get from the job? An internship especially would look good.

An internship or a job is always good. It seems to me that you can just get some friends together and have them help you with the sport in your free time.

Here’s my personal decision tree if I were in your shoes.

If you need the money, go with the job.

Else, if you have finished your sophomore year in college AND have a job or an internship that can help you career-wise, go with the job.

Else, have fun playing soccer!
