My daughter is among those 2016 grads currently job searching - looking for people’s experience in the new grad job market this year.
What is her field of expertise? Area of the country she prefers to stay in, if any??? I think that makes a difference in what’s out there.

My daughter will be graduating with her APN . No jobs lined up yet , but she is still working ( as per requirement from her program ) as an RN, so I think that will hold her over until she is finally done with school. She really hasn’t had much time to search with her heavy schedule of classes, clinicals and also working as a nurse per diem.
She is in Boston so I feel pretty confident that she will land a job as a NP pretty quick. She has made a lot of connections between her undergrad co ops as well as several clinicals in grad school
