when hiring do employers differentiate between a person who has done their undergrad in Electrical engineering and electrical engineering with technology? is there any preference over the two by employers, for example cisco, intel, microsoft? second question if they have both done there undergrad from reputable schools like purdue and masters in ECE in CMU etc do employers still distinguish what you did your undergrad in (electrical engr w/tech, electrical engr)? are ppl with tech treated differently cause of the more hands on experience or does that hinder them from employment from employers like cisco etc?
