im not sure if you guys can help me with this but I live with my mother and I cannot communicate with my father. I am unable to retrieve his W-2 forms and he will not create a college board account for me, so how do I proceed with the financial aid checklist.
UIUC compSc. nowhere as selective as JHU admission( 15% Vs 9%). But I feel you have a great school already lined up. Best of Luck for 3/13. I am so nervous…

but i am female in stem + i had a MUCH stronger app for JHU than i did for UIUC
im not delusional though, i know my chances are next to none 
and the RD acceptance rate is actually closer to 7.88%, not 9%, so JHU is twice as competitive as UIUC CS

Did everyone have to fill out more forms on IDOC? One of these forms asked about my taxes and the other one was a dependent student verification form? My JHU finaid portal was updated today, reflecting theyve been received on 27 Feb.
Anyone else?

@throwaway0324 hmmm weird a lot of my friends said they didn’t have those ones, and only 3 or 4 of my IDOC schools requested those. When did you apply?
I’m hoping they still consider me for aid if they admit me

Dependent student verification form was the only new one I had to fill out for JHU, because only JHU requested it.
The others were already up, because other schools asked for them.
It’s been on my IDOC since I added JHU, you probably missed it when you first uploaded documents
I applied at 11:40 pm on Jan 2nd, because I made the decision to apply THAT DAY lol
@throwaway0324 , that makes sense. That’s weird, JHU Duke Rice, and Stanford all requested my verification haha, you prolly didnt apply to the others.

This is what Duke took from me (from the portal): Father’s 2018 W2 Form, Free App for Fed Student Aid, Parent Federal Tax Return, CSS Profile Application, Parents W2 Form, Schedule C from Federal Return, Schedule K from Fed Tax Return, Student Non-Filer Form
im also 100% sure im getting rejected by duke
@collegeappacc @throwaway0324 Duke required forms on the Idoc? That’s strange, because on my Idoc, I never got anything from Duke to submit. Also I never got any forms to turn in to Rice either. Also I’m also 100% certain I’ma get rejected by Duke cause I never submitted my College Courses on time.
@CarBarlos they did for me, not for everyone. Rice didn’t request your Dependent Student Verification? hmm that’s weird, idk why, did they request other things on IDOC.
