"Join the Class of 2015 on Facebook" email?

<p>I received this email to invite me to “Join the Class of 2015 on Facebook” a few hours ago, </p>

<p>"Welcome Class of 2015! We hope you will join your fellow classmates on the BU Class of 2015 Facebook page. You can to talk to current BU students and meet your future classmates. We’re happy to answer any questions you have about BU and look forward to your joining us.</p>

<p>but it never mentions whether I got accepted or not. I never received any decision notification from BU. I looked into my BU Account, and no decision was found either. So does receiving this email indicate getting accepted?</p>

<p>Probably. I found out that I was accepted yesterday and I also got that same exact email a few hours ago.</p>

<p>Yeah they wouldnt send you that e-mail if you didn’t get in … looks like you got in but the letter might have been misplaced?</p>

<p>Um, i hate to be a bummer, but for UCSB i got waitlisted, but I still received emails about financial aid and housing, so did my friends. Its kinda messed up >_> But BU may be different. I definitely hope you get in though, so good luck!</p>
