Jonathan Krohn: How not to do your EC's

I’m pretty sure adcoms will be either creeped out or swearing (if most of the officers are liberal) when they see his college app…

*** are you even talking about

Search it in google. Smart kid whose parents taught him bad politics.

His intelligence is applied in literally the worst of ways. Seems like such a dbag.

I wanted to chuck my TV out the window when I saw a story on him on the news. That poor boy will lead a life of ignorance.

The worst part is that he’s a Republican, not a conservative.

From reading his wiki page it seems as if he has a very bright future, and is VERY intelligent. I don’t see what is wrong.

@Virtuoso it seems as if the kid will be very succesful in life. Publishing a book at his age and speaking at a VERY influential political outlet is something admirable. The life of ignorance comment is a little sad, just because he has opinions different from yours it does not mean he is jealous.

And for those who would remark that he does not know enough to make political decisions you have to remember that people who are very intelligent have the capability to develop thier own opinions at very young ages. I planned my entire life the summer after fifth grade, (though significant revisions have taken place). This kid seems great.

For those who are against him what is wrong with his ECs? They seem outstanding, and I would wager that if the same individual did the exact same thing from a liberal position he would be congratulated. What is the saying from the lips of babes?

The ignorance does not come from his opinions themselves. His ignorance comes from the likely fact that his parents spoonfed him all of his beliefs.

And I saw an interview with him. He’s probably the most arrogant teenager I’ve ever seen, including hot shot athletes and mock trial lawyers.

Oh okay then I thought you were insulting the beliefs themselves.

No. I actually agree with many conservative principles, especially the fiscal responsibility and smaller government. But the Republicans’ execution of those principles is just sickening, and this kid is a Republican.

Oh my gosh yes. I am a republican and even I wanted Obama to win. I was reading up on the financial plan that Geithner is producing and it sounds fundamentally sound. I really hope it goes well. If Obama does a good job during his first term i might actually vote for him in 2012. Here’s hoping he does well for everybody.

Then you are not a Republican. You might be a conservative or moderate, but not a Republican.

Saw this kid on CNN a few weeks ago. Not sure who thought it’d be a good idea to have him wearing lipstick.

He just came off as arrogant, from what I saw. He also seemed to just repeat the same thing to every question asked.
