<p>In eighth grade I helped on with a hurricane relief group following Katrina and aI was curious if I could touch base on that in my application or if it would be even significant because it was prior to high school. I worked 7-8 hours on a Sat. and I helped with clothes distribution, meds distribution, and I talked with the victims. I’m just wondering if I should add this to prior volunteer experience for my application since it was in jr high</p>
<p>Most of the time on applications when you document ECs and volunteer work, it’s for highschool only. What you do is write an essay about how working with Katrina victims really changed you as a person or opened your eyes to poverty in the world or something along those lines.</p>
