I’ve been looking into the JSA summer program at different colleges, but particularlly Georgetown, and I came across a section that talked about the workload. Now, I saw that by the end of the three weeks we had to write a 12-15 page term paper which kind of freaked me out a little. My question is, if for some reason I do poorly on the work that is assigned to us at the conference and, lets say, fail the class, will I have an “x” on my college transcript and would it affect my high school GPA or what not? I really want to go, but I want to make sure that if I do go and I’m not able to get everything done, I won’t be negatively affected by the experience.
