If I’m going to JSA (Georgetown I) for AP Gov’t… do I waste my time taking the class at my school?

Anyone take a JSA Gov’t class and do well on the AP test?

bump … i am thinking about the program (i was sent a letter because of my ACT score)

I went to JSA @ Georgetown last year, and I took AP Gov’t. The class prepared me decently, but you’ll still have to do a ton of self-preparation/review since there’s such a large time period between the class and the exam. However, the experience was awesome, even though it’s pretty expensive. I met some incredibly awesome people there, and the out-of-class experiences with the speakers and CW (debates) are excellent.

And I wouldn’t take the class if you’re able to direct yourself in studying for the exam.
