i have a couple of questions…

2 summers ago i participated in the junior statesmen of america program at yale…does anyone know if that looks at all good to somewhere like yale? also, should i send in the transcript i got from that course ( i got an a+ in constitutional law, and it WAS taught by a college prof, so idk), or should i just go along with the whole “thicker folder, thicker candidate” theory and just mention i took the class in the common app?

also does anyone know how common the “AP scholar with honor” award is?..i would assume on this website its pretty typical, but in the regular world…

Blue, surprised no-one responded. Don’t expect a big bump from JSA, at least from Yale - same goes for AP scholar - both are nice and by all means mention them. Ask your guidance counselor’s advice on the transcript - they should have a good idea what to include/exclude on an ivy app. Speaking of GC’s - have you spoken to yours and determined whether he/she has a good relationship with the Yale adcom for CT? Being from Connecticut could work to your adantage, especially if your GC has recommended students from your school in the past and they have done well. Good luck to you!
