July 12, Amazon Prime Day

Baggalini lovers - lots of purses on sale - and, for whatever reason, you get another 30% off at checkout - just purchased this one - with tax under $30 (original price $80 - which I would never pay!)

Those are cute! I like all the colors.

Here’s a cheat sheet for electronic deals:

Forget about rice cookers and shoes! I want the mini-Segway.

I might look at my fav shoes. Or maybe replace the shredder I got from them last year that jams too easily. I like a good shredder.

Ordered the Echo. DH is excited to have a new toy.

I see a go pro is on there now. Hubby really wants one, I have 16 hours to think about it.

thanks - got the gift card with the extra $10

Ok, there is a Roomba. Hmmm…

I got the gift card too but I don’t think the extra $10 is accessible yet.

I want to pay more, buy less. Losing my enthusiasm for buying “stuff”. #partypooper

Who wants to talk me in or out of an Instapot???

Does it really do a good job of multi-functions? (rice cooker, crockpot, etc.)

Found a new pair of the only walking shoes that I can wear all day for long walks at what worked out to about half price compared to the stores. New Skechers on the way. That’s pretty much it for this house, unless H finds something.

Abasket, there was a recent thread dedicated to that instapot thing!! Let’s see if I can find it…

ETA: lol, it was the Soup Weather thread that had lots of discussion of Instapot recipes. Here:

Me too! Aside for everyday groceries, there is so little I “need” that it will just tempt me to buy stuff I don’t need. Like going to Target.

I am thinking of getting the Instapot too, @abasket!

Roomba and Instapot are the two things that could make my life easier… Sitting on the fence for now, because I need to figure out what to toss before buying any more kitchen stuff.

I really hate to have an overload of “gadgets” - but I’m wondering if the Instapot would be more efficient than the rice cooker, 2 crockpots, etc. that I already have AND would allow me to get rid of all those gadgets and just have one!

I thought there was an Instapot discussion here on CC - thanks BB!

I don’t have the patience for this sort of shopping. If I don’t see what I want right away I pass. With that said I do need a king size down comforter. Company Store is also have specials today.
I had one of the early Roomba models. Everyone found it fascinating to watch. I liked the job it did but it had issues. The brushes broke easily and the long hair of myself and daughters would constantly need cleaning off the rollers and wheels. I had bought it at Linens and Things and they replaced it twice. Eventually it stopped charging. I wonder if they have worked out some of the kinks.

Lookee, that Instapot has 8.5k freaking reviews and an average of about 4.5 stars.

But I need no more gizmos. Frankly, the egg thingy (some know what I mean) is still my lil darling. There were some good reviews (CC?) for the air fryer. But hey, I have an oven.
