I was between grasslands and rainforest.

temperate forestttt most definately
thats where all the vegetaiton is not grasslands that like lion kind “grass grass grass tree” barely any vegetation

It can’t be deciduous forest because there aren’t any farms or any real food sources located in deciduous forests, short of squirrels and deer, etc.

lmao we were between rain forest and grassland, where the **** did deciduous come from??

sorry racheleigh definitely not deciduous forest… unless the world has substantially changed since the last time I walked outside
It’s either rainforest or grasslands, with most people leaning toward the latter

That answer is definitely grasslands. Rain forests must be cleared in order to support agriculture, and the topsoil quickly erodes, lasting only several years. I’m not sure why some this is the answer, but they are probably confusing food production with biodiversity.

In contrast, grasslands have a rich and deep topsoil that is firmly held in place by the vegetation. They are ideal for agriculture (especially wheat and corn) and are known as the breadbaskets of the world.

When i saw this question on the test, i put grasslands right away, because it really is that obvious.

Who remembers questions 5-9, their exact order and maybe if possible, your letter answer…cause i’m having a hard time remembering mine.

augh im getting really nervous reading this thread. I think so far i have 5 wrong. Hopefully no more.

I’m pretty sure it’s grasslands, all because the question referred to “Human food production.”

According to wiki: Despite the growth of vegetation in a tropical rainforest, soil quality is often quite poor.

Bad soil = poor human food production. We don’t eat rainforest trees.

Also, what was that DNA one? Was the answer formatted like:

5’ A T C G 3’
5’ T A G C 3’

5’ A T C G 5’
3’ T A G C 3’

?

lol, it was the one that was anti parallel and had the nucleotides paired correctly.

Okay 3 questions,
for the grassland were there two options “grasslands” and “temperate grasslands”
or was it just grasslands. Also, grasslands/temperate grasslands is definitely the answer because they occupy the prairie/central region of north America as well as the steppes of Asia which is where most food is produced.

Secondly, for the plant/bird questions involving phototaxis, photoropism, etc, were teh answers phototropism for plants growing toward sunlight, phototaxis movemnt of plants toward sunlight, and photoperiodism for the other two about length of day etc?

Lastly, for whoever took ecology, the question about a “minienvironment” containing soil, rotting wood, clovers, grass, a salamander and a colony of termites and a lid on top, what would happen to the level of oxygen?

at first i thought obviously, oxygen levels decrease but one choice said oxygen levels would be at a maximum during the day and a minimum during the night. I thought this was also viable because plants release oxygen during the day while taking in oxygen at night. So what do you guys think

soooooo which test prep books did you guys use, and which were most useful? :)

Can we discuss the question about why the number of bacteria in urine increased after four days?
I didn’t know whether to put that some of the bacteria were initially resistant or that they developed the resistance after four days - honestly, I don’t even remember what I put, it was such a guess - but which did we decide it was?
Ugh, I’m disappointed. I just… blanked out, I guess. Didn’t get much sleep the night before…

^^

I put something about the bacteria, that were resistant, reproducing.

Same. 10char

I thought the Princeton review for AP Bio was pretty decent

That’s what I used and got a 5. :)

I have a question:

If you don’t want to cancel your scores, can you still get them, but still have no colleges see them? I mean, if you don’t cancel your score, does that automatically mean they are “out in the open” for any school to see?

I also would like to know the answer to the above question.
With score choice, would you only be able to select specific tests (ex. all instances of SAT US History tests) or specific instances of tests (ex. the 2nd time you took SAT Bio)?

jeef the DNA strand was the second one you put. It had to have matching bases and a 5’ vertical to a 3’.

187.life there was one phototaxis about planaria, one phototropism, and two photoperiodisms

For the terrarium I put that oxygen increases during the day and decreases at night.
