It was independent assortment and black domiannt over brown,

confirmed and positive <3

It was independent assortment and black domiannt over brown,

confirmed and positive <3

ya I also got independent assortment. but I thought it was brown dominant over black maybe I am not remembering right

i remember that the cross was HHtt*hhTT for the parent cross so that is a clear indicator that it isnt independent assortment. Pardon me for asking but who said that the question is verified. Just because a few people said so doesnt mean that it is the right answer. If u must know, there are many problems on SATs where less than 40% of people got it right.

Hey if im wrong then i will admit it without any anger but i really think that the answer was that they were linked.

maybe im getting the problems mixed up was it the one with a chart that had the recessiuve at the top and whet down to dominant dominant?

^^ Ya i think thats the problem

I’m thinking they are going to make the curve more leniant. Possibly 3 wrong (maybe 4) for an 800? That’d be awesome…

@whoever says it isn’t independant assortment

independent assortment is showing that two traits are not inherited together. Any hybrid (HHtt, HtHt, hhtt) shows independent assortment. I checked the book afterwards, it’s independent assortment. There are also questions where 85% of the people get it right, that one was quite obvious. you’re over thinking it way too much.

I definitely know that I put down linkage for one of them. I’m pretty sure that is correct.

Not necessarily. It could be recombination (crossing over) only.

Here’s some more questions that i dont think are on the most recent compiled answers list

Which one of these does not, (forgot the correct wording) have a relationship of breaking down. Choices were like DNA>RNA, Polysach>monosach, anyone remember this one?

on the snake dichotomous key, there was a question asking like which of the categories on the key could be switched for ______. (forgot the exact classification scheme but something to do with fire).

also i put independent assortment.

@przgonna
The curve better be lenient… I’m around -7 and 3 omit… Which isn’t that bad according to released conversion tables. It’s around 760 if you are wondering. But that conversion table had a nice curve.

@btangbang
I remember that question, that was one of the easier ones. If you could provide me with the choices, I can probably remember the answer

btangbang, Yeah, it was something about what the digestive system breaks down. I think it was an ‘except’ question, with the answer being DNA->RNA

Are we officially allowed to talk about the test now? I know the one you’re talking about btangbang, but am afraid to say it because I’m not sure whether or not we can talk about them now. :|

i think I put that DNA –> RNA doesnt have a relationship of breaking down.
I also put independent assortment because I remember the ratios being close to 9 3 3 1

@bobraymund ya we can tlk about the test now. the embargo has been lifted

I think for the snake dichotomous key, the answer was 4 on the chart. But I don’t remember what 4 is about.

@ almostskaterThe curve better be lenient… I’m around -7 and 3 omit… Which isn’t that bad according to released conversion tables. It’s around 760 if you are wondering. But that conversion table had a nice curve.

Sorry but i doubt -7 and 3 omit will be a 760. On the other hand, what was the answer to the one question about where the food was stored in the stem?

@andrewpwnsyou
How come?
Omit three makes me start at a raw score of 77, 7 wrong drops me down to 70, and then deducting the 2 points will be 68, and a 68 is a 750 based off a conversion chart for one of the released tests.

And the curve for this test will be similar i am sure.

can someone explain the question about the recessive gene in the polyploidy vs diploid? does anyone remember the answer choices? i think i chose b…
and the answer for the enzyme coding in the virus gene is definitely rna–>rna?

Yeah I believe it’s RNA-RNA that’s what everyone said… I personally got it wrong though, I said DNA-RNA

so far i have 0 omit 1 wrong. im not sure about this question though

for the trees on different types of soil ,and some stuff to do with elevation
ppl were talking about I,II,III, can anybody tell me what those three things are?

the question for the snake question with the dichotomous key was a tough one
it was asking which number on the key could be exchanged for the absence/presence of heat-sensing facial pits

the answer was D) number 4
