@all4game Princeton review and Barrons AP Biology study books really really help. If u study from them both well and take the practice tests u will definitely get above a 730

So can anybody how this curve will affect our scores? Like how much extra points will it give u?

I think that it’ll be an easier-than-normal curve, since most tests had a lot less lab questions from what I gathered.

what’s the curve for 1 miss 0 omit?

^Most likely an 800

results will come out on like 24th right?

cellomaster, thanks.
What is considered a ‘good’ score on this test if applying to top schools?

Yes. That’s when most scores will be available online

@All4game. For top schools, anything above a 700 is acceptable. However, middle 700s is where you should aim. Anything 770+ is essentially considered to be the optimum score (really no different than getting an 800). I would say that any score that exceeds 740 woul help you with your chances.

@Ivysaur: Well put.

hey guys do u think i should retake the sat ii bio, cuz im only expecting a score of low 700s as a freshman, and i want to get like a 770+ to the colleges im looking towards?

yeah you should take it again.

5 days ! !?

PR, covers the bare minimum, Barrons go more in depth, AP books go more in depth, i suggest reading them all, AP environmental science will probably help you

what is the best prep book?/Which did you guys use and what did you think?

^

If you’re going to study for AP Bio too I think that Cliffs AP Bio is really good. PR Subjects is also good.

I used sparknotes, but i found those to be just different from teh real test. i liked barrons, even though it was harder. and pr is ok i guess.

ap bio books are good, but only if you have more than a month.

best possible case would be to review the ap books 2 month before, then save the last month for sat bio books.

Barrons AP bio study book in my opinion is definitely the best book to go with as it is more detailed, and the questions in the practice tests are harder than the subject test questions imo.

ahh, the results are so close! .__. scary, but I want to know… I’m sure all of us do, haha.

i want to know

NOW!!!
