Any predictions for the curve? Was this an easy or hard math II test?

Scores come out the 24th.

how is tht one with (2,2) and (-2,-2) symmetric at y=-x.

its slope is 1…

y=-x is a negative line crossing through the origin. It is almost exactly like the origin option.

Nah.i think its symmetric about the origin isnt it?? It Cannot be y=x anyway coz one of the given points pass thru it and the other doesnt.

o lord facepalm. haha i suck at life

How dyu do the Ln x=e^x question??
Could somebody plz explain??

@omgpie911
y=-x has a slope of negative 1, it divides the plane in half

law of sines anyone?

@ perfectpixie

Exactly what I thought. Until chance led me to re-read III and I saw it said y=-x. negative x.
Which the points ARE symmetric about. :(

@miamirulz
Lol, if you thought it was minimum score, you’d still be right…
Cuz since you apparently knew there was a minimum of 5 judges, and each can give a 1, the minimum score would be 5.

And another one for the consolidation books:
if y=mx+b passes through only two quadrants, what must be true?
And I got something like m=0. Or whatever led to the equation being a horizontal line.

^I don’t remember that one :(

Actually rustGust, the minimum score would be three if there were five judges, atleast that is what i put. Yeah I don’t remember which one you are talking about.

@RustGust that was definitely not a question i don’t know where you got that one from.

Any estimates for the curve and the relative difficulty of this test?

i’m sorry for being so annoying guys, but i can’t remember two of the answers I put and it’s bugging me…

For the ratio one (1:2), was the answer C? i know it was (8,12), but was that “C?”

And for the parametric one i was almost positive i got it right, but was -1/3 “D?”

Hey,
Can someone PLEASE explain these to me?

Value of x^x as x approaches 0: 1
I got like .7 or .8 on my graphing calculator…

ln x = e^-x: 0.27
How the heck do you do that?

Unit circle/chord: 2sin(theta)
I was pretty sure it was sin2theta

n(n+1)(n+2): divisible by 2 and 3, but not 4
Which one was this?

And I omitted 4 questions, definitely missed 1, and probably missed like 2 more. What score would that be?

@connie,
it’s 1. Plug in 0.

skipped

skipped

plug in 101

@ Rustgust- yea i just figured that out.
How dyu do the ln x=e^(-x) question
