canceling = they don’t grade it and you don’t get a score.
score choice= you get to pick whether to use it or not use it.

imo, don’t cancel, unless you know you failed. i always go “omg i failed” after a test but then i do decently ok on it. so if you didn’t do so great, just retake :)

motor neuron think ACETYLCHOLINE. yea, that was a more relevant link so look at the one daesung posted. :D

hoping for 750+ gahh. i know you can get like 9-10 wrong according to CB book.

if you cancel your score they just wont score it. You just get nothing it doesn’t mean you failed the exam it just counts as like you never took it.

Do you guys think that the Biology Subject test will be hard if I don’t take AP Biology and just take biology honors? I would also be going to a prep class, and using the prep books…

Oh and if you took more than one subject test dont cancel cuz that means your cancelling all your scores :frowning: but thankfully I didn’t do that bad in world history :D

LOL yea … its going to be hard because the curve or whatever is pretty harsh… I took AP bio and i think i got a 5 and this was just as hard except more MC and no free response(free response saved me though )

anyone here took a previous sat ii bio test? would you say JUNE one was harder or easier or about the same? just want to get an idea how the scoring will be like.

what is so bad about failing the test, if you dont use it?
why would someone cancel? im very confused.

But AP Bio covers more that the SAT Subject Test… Anyway I dont think taking an AP is necessary, for a guaranteed perfect score I suggest buying the Campbell (best general bio book out there, and this comes from someone that has read them all) and study it by heart.
Guaranteed 800! Not easy to do though xD

so is this everyone’s first time taking sat ii bio?

Yep :3 taking like 4 next year with like uhh 8-9?? ap exams xD and yesh im azn (haha sorry just an easy stereotype)

Yeah, first and last time thank god! :D

@likeastarr yes. i dont think i did amazing, considering i am a low b+ student in bio honors. i did better than i thought i would do. i heard that you can retake the test in august. i dont think that is true. any conformation on this?

So just want everyones gut feeling here…do we think it will be a decent curve or not?

I think the next test date is in October

that is what my teacher said. some really smart kid in my class said you can retake it in august, but i think she is wrong.

Well I don’t think I have to retake the exam as long as I get 750+ :D

Now that the discussing has more or less stopped, I have a question.
The report colleges get includes how many you got wrong? Or just the score?

just the score. college board doesn’t even tell us (the test takers) how many they got wrong :stuck_out_tongue: unforunately.

Thanks  That’s great actually! An 800 with a raw score of 47 would be the same as one with a 50 raw score :D

But it would be nice to know how many I missed, specially on math…
