***June 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

Why not?? @auditi5‌ ? How are we supposed to improve? Sorry this was my first time taking the test… I did take the PSAT though and we got to see what we got wrong

@Marissa‌ because it’s a service you can order from the SAT and they only provide it for some months, June is not one of them

What does the SAS show us that the free score report doesn’t?

Well that’s crap

The questions we got wrong probably

It says on the SAS that actual test questions aren’t included with SAS… Lol then what’s the point?

Wow. if I knew they had detailed score reports for free, I wouldn’t have ordered the SAS.

@humbugs I consistently score 10s on the essays like on the real ones and practice ones I get grades elsewhere. My only hope is that I nail the Multiple Choice for an 800. I didn’t practice as well. But really yeah you’re right, basically good intro that you can formulate trust me, I use the same one every time, and then 2 good examples, and a decent conclusion. Guarantee 10.

Starting today, I embark on the SAT journey for the final time. I’m so over this test.

So this October test is gonna suck

Get it back just in time to apply to harvard ea so I better do good

@satletsgo your safety school should be harvard

Wow math curve was extremely brutal. On the March I got a 770 and only missed two. On this one I missed three questions and I got a 700…wow, super tough.

@michealcks26, the writing section has always come easily to me, so I’m not sure what tips to give you other than take practice tests, record the mistakes you make and the grammar that explains why they’re wrong, and then study from this. I got an 800 and an 11 essay both times I took the SAT. For Critical Reading, I always found the Vocab hard, so I bought the Direct Hits books and also an SAT Vocab app and studied from these every day. In the weeks leading up to the test, I did one critical reading section test every day, and did a full length practice test twice a week. My score increased from a 720 to a 740. Unfortunately, due to the harsh curve, my math score dropped from a 770 to a 700 this time around, so I didn’t reach my goal score of a 2300 (but I’m very happy with a 2290 and a superscore of 2310). Anyway, those are my tips and good luck!

@Jarjarbinks23 of course Harvard’s my safety school

Harvard is also my safety school

By the way, can anyone judge the CR curve?

@scarlettlovesivy‌ I would but considering my score was a 460, I’d rather not :frowning: probably average imo

Anyone else only miss 3 questions on math and get a 700?

Hey do u guys think it’s worth it for me to take the act instead of a 3rd subject test? I got 2380 sat and 740 math, 800 chem. Do colleges prefer the act?
