2230, with my superscore amplified to a 2260! My SAT tutor believed the scales might have been the harshest for this test, since one girl knew she only got one math wrong and one cr wrong and got a 2280

That’s not possible… This scale was very lenient

@Jor26029 Thank you so much! It’s a mediocre score just in my opinion, I mean it’s good but I can’t stop at that. I’m just going to work towards my goal this entire summer!

I thought the scale was harsh, esp for math because I only knew I got 3 wrong and I got a 680, although there could have been an extra mistake I didn’t know of thrown in. March had the BEST math curve EVER. I got like 7 wrong and got a 710. This is a shock.

no wonder I got a 580 in march for math… Hard math section I guess.

There is no scale where you get 3 wrong and get a 680 @scarlettlovesivy you probably made a few careless mistakes here and there.

I’d like an honest opinion if you don’t mind, just my general profile. I want to hopefully get the Eminence Fellows scholarship at OSU, which is a full ride +grants and all of that awesome stuff. I plan to go into Aeronautical engineering with a Spanish minor. Soon to be senior.

Good? I hope.

@Jellybae you’re right, I def made mistakes

@eburke73 You are perfect, holy. Wow, can I be you?
And if you don’t get a full ride, I don’t know who will. You have a great resume in your hands, Good Luck!

@scarlettlovesivy thank you so much (: I’m freaking out, honestly, just reading other people’s EC’s and “resumes” if you will.

@eburke73 Wow, I feel like crap after reading your ECs. I barely have any and I still have the damn SAT and subject tests to worry about Btw, can you please give me tips for the ACT? I’m trying it out for the first time in Sept.

This isn’t a chance thread. I’d go to the chance section for actual help @eburke73

@jellybae whoops! I wasn’t super aware that was a thing, haha, I’m not the most CC savvy person around.
@scarlettlovesivy basically, read fast. If you can just make it through the passages, you have a better chance of doing well. Getting caught up is death, rereading the same lines over and over will slow you immensely. Practice test, just so you know the format.

@squashaddict 1 CR and 1 wrong on Math would ALWAYS, even if every curve was harsh, result in the 2300s. Maybe the girl was lying or didn’t report that she made extra mistakes.

anyone know what time the score analysis is released? (specify a time zone please)

I was wondering the same thing @Matt846 anyone know?

It just says July 1, maybe 5 am eastern time since that was the case for the sat scores…?

My score makes me cry I could’ve possibly had a 2310 if I wrote a formulaic essay, didn’t change my original answers for cr and read 2 maths questions carefully sulks in corner I could’ve been done with this process guys done forever :((

lol it’s like a large number of people in this thread is gunning almost exclusively for top 10 schools … a 2200+ is more than excellent.

I mean once you pass the 2210 mark, you’re nationally in the top 1% of all SAT test takers… which means only 14000 people or less did better or just as well as you did. How much better can it get?
