***JUNE 2015 ACT DISCUSSION THREAD***

What did you guys think? Science was difficult for me, but English was a lot easier and so was reading.

What do you mean no reason for another thread? You haven’t even taken any one of these test, so you don’t even know if they had a differnt structure or didn’t. What so wrong for having another thread? Merging will just cause confusion. You guys are monitoring us like your the NSA.

What did you guys think about the June test compared to the April test? I felt as though the June was a little better.

Everything felt easier, especially the math, but the reading felt harder.

Yeah…I thought it was slightly easier than the April…hopefully that means something

Ill give you my score breakdown from April and my impressions of the June test
April
E:34
M:36
R:30
S:31
For June, the English was definitely harder, especially the 2nd passage. Math was also harder, especially since I thought the April math was cake. Reading was similar but i think i preformed better. And science was easier, but I am expecting a similar curve since there were some tricky questions.

@dallascowboys1 how many did you get wrong in English in April?

@emersonballer21 I missed 3 questions in English and got a 35 on the April ACT. I was very surprised by this because I like the other poster felt like the English was ridiculously easy on that test. Math was very easy too, but there was stjll a pretty good scale. -2 was 35. However, the April ACT had really hard science and reading imo.

I definitely felt that this test was easier than April. In April I was unsure for a bunch of the math/science questions and I definitely felt that the math and science for the June ACT were easier.

English: Thought it was pretty fair compared to previous tests
Math: Seemed a bit harder than usual, especially near the end
Reading: To me this one seemed MUCH easier than past tests
Science: Tough. There were two 7 question passages. Threw me off b/c I get nervous on those ones

English: Harder than practice, by a lot. Expecting generous curve.
Math: I thought it was easier/similar to most Red Book practice exams, but most think otherwise. I have no idea what to expect for the curve.
Reading: I thought it was pretty straightforward and fair. Definitely some tricky questions, most passages seemed longer than usual. Maybe -1=36.
Science: I thought it was harder than usual. Usually I can finish, but this time I had to blindly guess on the last 4 questions. I’m guessing a pretty average curve.

Have any of you guys ever had success in the past predicting curves?

Am I the only one whose status hasn’t changed from ‘registered’ to ‘tested’?

mine hasnt changed

Most peoples will change the day before scores come out

@16jpatel so is that an indicator of whether you’re gonna be receiving your scores the next day?

If yours changes to tested before the 23rd, then you are very likely to get your scores the next day. @BCSP10

What day do you think the scores will be available? I am dying here.

They should become available on the 23rd, @bluecatch

Yup at 12 am central or 1 am eastern
