The June test definitely felt like it was easier than the April test. Idk why everyone is saying that reading was easier though, to me it was way harder.
aw man I have a physics final on that day. guess im gonna have to stay up on the east coast
I just hope for a generous math and reading curve.
so what exactly was different about this exam? just science?
I’m still listed as registered, is anyone listed as tested?
Usually no one is tested until the day before the test
@16jpatel So you are listed as registered too?
My status didn’t change to tested until a few minutes before the scores were released in April. I wouldn’t worry about it. I’d be surprised if anyone is marked as tested right now.
i swear it feels like most of the people on here are taking it for the first time
@mithuun15 i am
It was my first time as well.
are you guys juniors or soph? (last year)
@Mithuun15 Soph. I took the SAT in May and got a 2160 (740 M, 730 W, 7 essay, and 690 CR). I’m taking the ACT because the Math isn’t as difficult, the reading is less intuitive, and the essay score is separate from your MC score. Not to mention your get scores back in 10 days
@mithuun15 Sophomore
damn im a junior just trying to get a 29
@balrog29 nope I’m still registered like probably everyone right now.
The score release for the ACT is different than it is for the SAT. Scores for the ACT are processed and released in groups whereas scores for the SAT are released all at once. Scores for this test will start to be released on 6/23 and the next release will most likely be on 6/26 based on past tests. Scores will then be posted every Wednesday and Friday until all are released. The majority of people will receive scores on the first or second release, but some scores might take longer.
See ACT’s website for more info: http://www.actstudent.org/scores/viewing-scores.html
@mithuun15 I was a freshman last year
It doesn’t say that you are tested until right before your scores are released. It is one way to know if you’re part of the first batch of releases because you’ll be listed as right before they’re released that day; otherwise, you’ll have to wait until the next batch of releases.
Here is the curve for the April 2015 test
E -1 36, -2 to -3 35, -4 34, -5 to -6 33
M -1 36, -2 34, -3 to -4 34, -5 33
R -1 36, -2 35, -3 34, -4 33
S -1 36, -2 35, -3 34, -4 33, -5 31
