Well I guess I’m done with the ACT. Thought that was a toughie
That math section…what?
I didnt take the writing. I thought the math was a lot easier than the ones ive been practicing with: there was only 5 questions that i had absolutely no clue how to do (but of course on the car ride home i figured out how to solve a few of them

) i ran out of time on english which is ironic since during my pracice tests i always finished like 10 minutes early. I hope i did decent on reading and science, those two are always the worst, but they didnt seem as hard as they have in the past.

Overall, i was definitely less stressed taking this test than i was during my last 2 tests. Maybe thats because the test was easier, or maybe it was because i studied and knew my stuff.
Regardless, i hope all of us get the scores we’re shooting for!
I thought that was the easiest math section I’ve ever taken lol. I only guessed on 4. English was average. Reading was bleh - Social Studies and Humanities were decent, Natural Science and Narrative were TERRIBLE. I found the Natural Science passage on this test to be very similar to Natural Science on the April state test. I didn’t think science was great, but my judgement on the science test is usually impaired so I don’t really know lol. The only one on science I flat out did not know was #40 even though I actually understood the content of the experiments and what the graphs meant.
I wonder why so many people thought the math was hard… did you guys study for it at all? I mean, math is my worsf subject in school, so who the heck knows if i actually did well on it :))
But i dont think there was any point where i thought “i have no clue what this is even asking me to do”
Although in science, there were about 2 questions that i was like, “theyre asking me something thats not even mentioned anywhere!” Thank god we arent penalized for guessing
I thought that science was incredibly easy and it’s usually my worst section. English was a tad difficult, but everything else felt pretty normal.
I’m horrible at math but I thought the math section was pretty easy
Did anyone else get an experimental passage?
I was very happy to see a science section that was much easier than April’s. Math was pretty easy this time around as well. However, I thought that english was a bit harder than it normally is and reading was very difficult, but that could’ve just been me.
I thought it was a bit difficult but it was my first time taking the test and i only studied like 1 week.
Also I had to randomly bubble in some answers on the answer sheet without even bubbling them first in the test booklet due to time management problems. Do you think this will hurt my score if i didn;t bubble in booklet but bubble on answer sheet instead?
I agree with @brownaspirant . Math and science much easier than April, but reading slightly harder. English was average
English, Reading, and Math were so easy I breezed through them
First time taking ACT with no prep, so the Science section on the other hand…
@HopefulKid17 im pretty sure it only matters what you bubble in on the bubble sheet. They probably just recycle the booklets as soon as they get them.
@TheFutureDoc16 i got an experimental science passage!
@microssrunner17 I got the experimental science too
@HopefulKid17 You don’t need to bubble anything in the test booklet
@greenhandbook You’re not allowed to as the ACT and rules on this forum dictate.
What date do we get our scores back?
Just finis
@KateHBag in 2-8 weeks
Wow, this test seemed easier than the March statewide exam, although hopefully that doesn’t mean that I did poorly… I found math to be a little challenging, but since it’s my worst subject I was expecting that. English, reading, and surprisingly science were all easier. Writing wasn’t too bad, thanks to AP Lang
I hope everyone gets the scores they want!
