June CR (giant squid, etc.)

Oh, and is the western imperialism thing narrow and biased?
^That’s what I had.

What was the question for the Elizabethan one?

I got narrow and biased too!

spate! (10 char)

Anybody remember more questions?

One question had the word “plethora” (not in the answers, in the question). Anyone remember it?

i think it was “tutelage…evidenced”

yeah, that’s what I got

^(tutelage…evidenced) I got that too.

Oops. 2 wrong SCs. Bad.

anyone get the same answers as the ones i posted on page 1?

^ All Chinese-American questions. Half of the others are different from mine. I’m doomed.

i got the same reading answers as you, qhausqkqh.

Damn, i got screwed in SC.

lol lugubrious is the only one i have wrong so far

Only got some of what you had, qhausqkqh. But then again, I suck at reading comprehension.

^ Join the club.

I’m actually quite unsure of my CR answers. Especially the biographer one…I was stuck between A, C, and E, but ended up choosing A. There was no mention of fiction in the passage so I scrapped C and no examples of fantastic fictional life to be juxtaposed to, so I chose the one about how it’s not so believable.

That’s still very logical reasoning compared to the way I chose my answers, haha…

Hmm… it feels like we got stuck with 2 exp. sections or something; most CCers had different writing and math sections.

“Passage one refers to novelist’s craft and passage two refers to biographer’s craft” was one of my answers because all others seemed impossible.

^got the same answer.

I thought Passage One talked about the difficulties of writing biographies, and Passage Two talked about how biographers write about writers so it is a subset :S

There was also a question where ‘innocuous’ was the answer, and another about scientists being uneasy with ‘malaise’ as the answer.
