justine96 Ah… checked up the compiled list of answers for the Nov. '08 U.S. Saturday SAT, didn’t you? :)

In Bio…whatever, it’s paradoxical
Packaging food - #2 I wrote “convenient”. Was the question asking the perspective of the public or the food industry?
Artistic Elephants - #1 is either that or Nostalgic reflection. I picked the latter.
Poetry - #5 I wrote something else, just can’t remember the answer right now (something like that their poetry will be less likely to get published?)
And in the vocabulary, #1 I’m 99% sure it was CONFIDENCE

grid ins:
→ 7/16 tickets
→ 94 A letters (A,B,C,D sequence)
→ 1/9 geometric pattern (27 !st term, divide by 3 each time, 6th term=)
→ 60 miles (car, 40 MPH)
→ 4/3 slope (really anything between 1 and 2) (slope of M + slope of line in shaded region)
→ 4 length of x (circle, radius=4, 10-4=6)
→ 6 (100, 102, 104, 106, 108, 110). And please DON"T even bother mentioning 11. If A and B can be ANY number, then for (B-A)=(A-B) it HAS to be an EVEN power… and its inclusive
→ 130 degrees

21 ( 5^2 - (-2)^2 = 21)
92 average (so # has to be 94)

-a-b
f(x)=4
5 teachers
slope increases (if take out point on scatter plot)
five (5,6,7,8,9) (cubes from 100-999)

(2,2) midpoint
540
39

Can anyone answer math question that was in the short section???

The information given was that there was 2 quadratic function, one was concave up and the other was concave down, and they had same two x-intercepts.
The question was to ask how many are there other quadratic functions having same x-intercepts that can be graphed rather than two functions already shown???

(a) None
(b) 1
(c) 2
(d) 3
(e) More than 3

@minenotyours- i agree with all these math just a few questions. what was the actual question for f(x)/g(x)-2. And also what were the questions for the answers “3/5 prob of even,” 5 teachers", “540”, and “39.” Also one answer was radical 2 for the circle radius.

Also one grid in answer was ten but i cant remember the question.

dla6023 , I didn’t have that. It was Experimental

what prompt did you guys get for the essay??

what was the math question with answer 39?

@justine96 are those answers in your second post what was on your test? like avitron142 said, those look like the questions on the Nov 2008 Saturday sat…

yes. The novermber 2008 was the same test as the sunday june 2013. Also the december international 2012 and january 2011 international are also the same as the june 2013 sunday test.

I can’t believe they would repeat a test 4 times.

Does anyone remember that question about the even and odd numbers where 3a was odd and b was even or something like that? What was the answer? I believe I picked choice A which was a+b, was that right? Do you remember the correct answer to that question?

Wooohooo! Going over the answers posted here and it looks like I actually did very well in CR, and OK in math too, only a few wrong.
My essay prompt was on moral character being the most important characteristic in leaders. Overall, I think I did pretty well.
For that #s 100-110 that fit the description (b-a)=(a-b) I blanked and thought, well thats impossible! and put zero. Silly me =)
