Junior class of 2013 what are my chances at harvard?c

<p>I am a very high divison 1 baseball prospect, most likely going top 10 rounds in mlb </p>

<p>Congrats to date. Have you taken either the SAT or ACTs yet? If that is good, then you should be looking at many top academic schools to recruit you.</p>

<p>The way it works for recruited athletes is a bit different. First, the coach has to indicate that he wants you and is willing use one of his spots to bring you in. Then, the coach will request your test scores, grades, teacher rec, etc and send them to Admissions who will come back with a strong idea as to whether you will pass the committee. In our case, the coach was able to tell my S about what the cut-off is for test scores and GPA even before his materials went to Admissions. Once the coach formally requests a likely letter, a commitee that meets about every other week will consider the request. My S received a call the same night the committee met telling him that he was in and could expect his LL soon.</p>

<p>That is at least how the process worked for us just about a year ago.</p>
