Junior feeling a bit anxious about college admissions

Hey everyone,
I’m currently a junior feeling a bit anxious about college admissions and would love some honest input. My GPA dropped from a 3.9+ to around a 3.7 this year—mostly Bs in APs and an honors calc class. I have a 1500 SAT and strong extracurriculars with leadership roles. I’m aiming for Vanderbilt (public policy studies) but am really nervous about my chances now. I know there are many great schools out there, but rejection is still scary. Has anyone had a similar experience or any advice on staying positive and focused? Thanks in advance!

Hey hey.

Whoops! Accidentally pressed the enter button too soon but I would say don’t worry too much. Make sure to write a really good essay, keep your course rigor high and maybe try your best to improve your gpa. Your stats are only so much though, extracurriculars are also very important. Got on here because I saw you tagged Amherst :).
