Junioritis, Class of 2012

Relaxing music!! Or take a bath while you study! Do something to ease the stress, even if it’s temporary. It can be disastrous :frowning: I’ve failed tests from being too anxious and stressed.

oh ! took a pre-calc quiz today. failed with flying colors
im really going to study my *** off now. that class is no joke

So many things to study :frowning: But my AP Gov and Econ books came today :D

We’re reading catcher in the rye right now.

A bubble bath while I study sounds nice.
Pink and blue bubbles…i wonder if I can find some like that…

I’m just distracted. My distraction is causing me some stress.
But maybe reading a book should help…yah, that should help.

I’m reading the Leopard by some Italian dude.
I read catcher in the rye frosh year.

ada, it’s okay. I just failed a quiz today as well. -______-

I usually put on classical music when I’m trying to study, but today I put on some jazz. It’s really soothing. Let’s see how this goes…

I keep getting distracted. Facebook keeps sucking me in…

<.<

That’s why I left again. It’s a jungle on fb. You take one look and you get lost in it.

I like Yiruma’s music, very soothing. My all time favorite is Clair de lune. Debussy is a genius. (I used to play piano)

The Great Gatsby was really enjoyable. Not excited for Frankenstein next year…or crime and punishment. Both are tough reads I heard

I need to deactivate fb too but I could never survive. It slows me down while I work but makes it more enjoyable at the same time. Ah, the drama

I gave up Facebook for lent, even tho I’m not catholic.

I’m going to borders tomorrow (theyre closing down so everything is 60% off) and buying a math 1 subject test book. Because I WOULD buy math 2, thinking that was the test I wanted to take. Dammit.

But I need to get off now and study for three classes. Bye :(

bye CPU.

I feel sad that the borders chain is dead.

^^Do it!!
It will only help you.

omg that take it off your chest thread just saved me. I feel so much better. You all should use it if you need to take a load off your chest.

I love the Great Gatsby
The worst book I’ve read so far… is a tie between Ethan Frome and The Crucible/The Scarlet Letter. Yuck.

And CPU: Wait, are you taking Math 2 or Math 1? Because I heard most schools don’t like for students to send in the Math 1 subject test.

im using barrons for us history . that should cover the material … i hope.

now CPU is that borders everywhere or just in your area?

the borders in my area is closing down as well. So it’s a large scale closing.

well that means im going tomorrow to get my chem books.

@marine:why dont they like math 1?

There’s one in my area, but many in my state are still open. Check online I think they should have it.

And why not math 1???

soo excited for prom…anyone get their dress yet?

@ada: Get AMSCO as well. It’s amazing
But yea, the borders in my area is closing down too. I already got my chem book a few months ago, amsco + barrons should cover US history, and… I have no clue what other test to take. Kill me now.
And I have no idea. Possibly because it’s dangerously easy, according to some CCers.

@LovexLight: My mom and I started looking for prom dresses as soon as sophomore year ended ■■■■■ (: But I haven’t gotten a dress yet because I have no clue if I’m even going.

^^
i’m not going to prom.
I’ll stay at home and read comic books or something.

If you’re a Mac owner, this app ([Download SelfControl for Mac - Block distracting websites for predetermined periods of time. MacUpdate.com](<a href=“Download SelfControl for Mac | MacUpdate”>Download SelfControl for Mac | MacUpdate)) lets you shut off certain websites for set amounts of time. I hate that I need this, but the further I get into junior year, the less motivation I have to keep doing all of the work.
