guys my hamster is goin IN on this wheel . lmao its crazy !

oh damn ! haha that is pretty weird tho O_o eminem ?

guys my hamster is goin IN on this wheel . lmao its crazy !

I can’t believe I’m saying this but…

I’m nervous how the human geography AP Test.

Looking at the past free-response questions, I would’ve had trouble with many of them…

@OtherWindow: really? dang :(

@ada: -___- how do you sleep though? lol

@Frip: i wish our school had AP Lang, even though some IB kids took the test instead. what are you using to study? if anything, haha.

Wow, I feel better now. Of the three colleges I’m seriously considering going to:
1 (good private school) doesn’t give any credit for Human Geography
the other 2 (big public) give the same credit for a score 3-5

:)

lucky you! I need at least a 4 to get credit for any of my schools, except I think CSU Long Beach. I’m too lazy to check the rest.

It’s okay if GW gets moved down, Ada. That means you’ve found a better fitting school :)

I’m happy with Wellesley being a better fit for me. Wellesley and MIT are tied for first though, so technically Smith is second :)

I feel so slow for not knowing that Pomona is selective as hell. someone said they had a 13.6% acceptance rate this year!? ugh lol. which reminds me, I still need to complete my college portfolio thingy.

but CPU i’m glad you found that Wellesley is a better fit for you :)

The hardest part about college is getting in…

But honestly I love NEU
but Wellesley is nice because I can get away from the crazy city, and I like smaller classes. But I’m applying EA to NEU and MIT (and UMass, blah lol) so hopefully if anything I get into NEU, I have a better chance there lol.

AND I BETTER NOT BE A SPRING ADMIT! for NEU you go abroad, and I’m not having that (neither is my mom lmao) so I’d turn it down, or see if I can do something else.

Wellesley has spring admit too i think.

Idk lol I’m confused!!!

I think NEU is an overall better fit. ESP the co-op program!!!

I wish Pomona had EA! I’d apply in a heartbeat. they have ED, and I don’t wanna do that lol.
I love the idea of smaller class sizes and having a good relationship with my profs / classmates + getting attention! USC is still my #1 though (:
If I got into Pomona and USC spring admit, I’d probably go to Pomona for the fall then finish out at USC. -still crossing fingers-
LMU, I still love you. I promise.

I agree, the hardest part is definitely getting in -____- I wish everyone on this thread the best of luck though!! :p

Same!

Good luck!

I think I’d be most happiest at NEU, most accepted at Wellesley and Smith, and most stressed at MIT. Fingers crossed for NEU. Hopefully I can afford it
my mom said it’s worth it for the school that’s the best fit/has better opportunities. At NEU, I’ll still make the effort to know all of my profs.

Guys, I’m dropping AP English. I’m doing a STEM major(s) so I don’t need it. And senior year will be stressful enough. I’m taking honors instead, so I’ll have 3 AP and 2 honors (like this year.) I’d rather do well than overload with classes and then not do as well.

That’s a good idea CPU. only take as much as you can handle :)

I wish there was some godly unique EC that would be able to happen for me.
All my city offers are the typical tutoring, animal shelters, and hospital interns. I am doing these things and plan to do more in the summer but … WHY couldn’t I be able to teach disabled kids how to surf?!
I don’t even live near a beach. Lol. /endrant

hey!

@ada/marine - glad to know you missed me. XD

IF YOU DON’T LIKE HEARING ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE’S DRAMA SKIP TO THE BOTTOM -
so basically, that whole drama thing i was talking about earlier…i don’t really want to talk about it anymore, but i’m going to give you a summary anyways:

one of my best guy friends since freshman year “asked” me to prom like two weeks ago, but it was on the way to track practice and he brought it up as a suggestion, like “i suggest we should go to prom together before we graduate.” he’s had a history of liking me on/off since freshman year, and i couldn’t give him a straight answer just then, but later i told him i didn’t want to go with him. he said that was fine. i didn’t really think much about it. a few days later, a senior from his advisory and a sophomore from his advisory both ask me what happened, because apparently he told them he asked me and i said no. they made it sound like he was upset, but i thought they were just misconceiving things. the same day the senior talks to me, i was chilling with two of my good friends, and one of them suggests we go to prom together as friends if he can’t ask anyone else, and if i don’t want to go with anyone else that asks me. even LATER the 1st guy who asked me and I are hanging out and he’s like:

Guy: so what’s up?
Me: nothing much.
Guy: Then why did you say no?

anyways, that was really out of the blue, and i was upset/confused, but while i was struggling to give an explanation, he tells me he talked to his mom and she “convinced him that what i did was really rude.” i really couldn’t talk to him right then, so i call guy #2 and tell him i don’t think i can go with him because guy #1 is not handling this well, and guy #2 says he’ll talk to him because they’re best friends. (but i’d been friends with them both before they knew each other…) at this point Guy #1 doesn’t know Guy #2 and I were planning to go to prom together, and so Guy #2 goes off to make sure the whole thing is okay. Guy #1 says it’s fine, so Guy #2 asks me. but then LATER Guy #1 decides it is NOT fine, at which point Guy #2 has already asked me, and so Guy #2 looks like a jerk, especially to their mutual friends.

i have a facebook convo with Guy #1, and i thought i settled things and he was going to be okay, but i was SUPER *ed off, because he wasn’t being fair, and everything he said contradicted itself. he would say he wasn’t angry, and then that he was irrationally angry, and then he would say he didn’t blame me or that he wasn’t bothered by certain things, but then he would go back and blame me/say he was bothered indirectly. i was talking to Guy #2 because i was so frustrated, and he became frustrated, so he sent Guy #1 a letter, which made Guy #1 ed off. and then guy #1 didn’t go to school the next day. His mom was also going around telling people that her son asked me to prom and i said no and then I asked his best friend to prom! IT WASNT MY SUGGESTION. God. (His mom is a teacher at school, btw, and they live on campus.) I was also hearing from some people that this all happened in a span of 20 minutes (Guy #1 asking me and me asking Guy #2). Fail.

Guy #2/#1’s mutual friends were making Guy #2 feel bad, and Guy #2 said that if we don’t go together it will make Guy #1 feel better. I was apologizing to Guy #1, but the next day i woke up and realized I WASNT sorry. Guy #1 handled this really poorly, and he was saying he was upset because I “disvalued our friendship” and “committed social taboo,” when that makes no sense because 1) i’m not dating him and 2) we BOTH made sure he was fine with this whole thing before anything became* official. Plus, he was upset BEFORE he found out about his friend planning to with me. He said it wasn’t about him liking me or whatever, but otherwise, there is no reason why he should have been so upset about rejection. Also, i believe he told me the “polite” thing to do would have been to say yes to him, say no to anyone else, or not go to prom at all. Screw that.

So basically, now I’m not going with anyone to prom, but Guy #2 is still picking up my ticket (thanks, Guy #2), and I’m super *ed at Guy #1, but both Guys are chill with each other, and Guy #2 is going with his Senior Friend because if he goes alone after she asked him to go with her, she will be *ed.

I have an amazing dress though: [bebe Asymmetric Sequin Cutout Dress](http://www.bebe.com/bebe-Asymmetric-Sequin-Cutout-Dress/dp/B004B605OU?ie=UTF8&field_launch-date=-1y&field_availability=-2&navAsinList=B004H91F7W%2CB004DVFCF0%2CB004MYJCQ8%2CB004CS7GOE%2CB004BT1WDK%2CB004B63QGO%2CB004BT74UK%2CB004BL3JKC%2CB004IE7HHS%2CB003XMZEH6%2CB004BL0HWK%2CB004AK7O00%2CB004BL27LE%2CB004CXZPOC%2CB004B608BU%2CB004B5YELQ%2CB004C0ZXEM%2CB004D3D6D8%2CB004QHH9JI%2CB004IEG7N8%2CB004AVGXSS%2CB00464MYPU%2CB004BL2JB2%2CB004BL5TOG%2CB003WADWM8%2CB004BL250W%2CB004IHSQH0%2CB004B605OU%2CB004BL5ZX6%2CB004FMC43A%2CB004CXZMUY%2CB0048E8VIM%2CB004FQ3P8O%2CB004CS4DEK%2CB004BL0KR2%2CB004FQ5CGM%2CB004FQ37AK%2CB004C0ZX1A%2CB004C0WH8M%2CB004B5WN4G&navAsinListIndex=0&searchRank=-product_site_launch_date&id=bebe%20Asymmetric%20Sequin%20Cutout%20Dress&ref=search_results_28&node=675941011&field_browse=675941011&searchSize=40&searchNodeID=675941011&searchPage=2&asinSearchPageIndex=27&searchBinNameList=null&field_is-searchable=0&pf_rd_r=0XYXY08PMA9ABYP1F2WH&pf_rd_m=A2FMOXN01TSNYY&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_i=675941011&pf_rd_p=1287840882&pf_rd_s=search-results)
