<p>As DD#2 can’t fit AP Italian into her sr yr schedule, she wants to prepare for exam by self-study. My role was to find books, info, etc to help along the way. Started at CB AP Central website, lots of info there about course guides, and a link to buy them. After spending $40 for guides, today when checking on the order, what do I see but a subheading for each guide: free pdf download for each complete course guide. When I called to cancel the order, it was too late (but I was told I could return for full refund; of course I’m out shipping both ways). Rant, rant, vent, vent.</p>
<p>Be advised there is a listening/verbal component to the Ap Italian (S took it in 06, first year it was offered).The local teachers of Italian organization here in NY had serious concerns over its difficulty/scoring. It may be worth your while to have your D get a few tutoring sessions close to test time with an Italian teacher with actual test familiarity.</p>
