just a pep talk

To my fellow Class of 2014 Harvard hopefuls,

Now that the application deadline has passed, I think it’s time for everyone to take a much-needed breather. We’ve all worked really hard, and now our futures at Harvard are in the hands of the admissions officers. There’s not really anything we can do to change what we’ve put into our applications, and whatever is meant to happen will happen. We’re all probably pulling our hair out waiting for a decision (I know I am), but at least we will not have to face the regret of never having tried. To have the guts to apply makes you amazing, and I’m sure that each of us has a unique story that would contribute to the Harvard community. Whether we are accepted, deferred, or rejected, everything will be okay. So let’s just relax. Go ahead, pig out, have a Harry Potter movie marathon, or engage in an epic snowball fight. We all deserve it. :)
