Just a taste

Just a Taste

Life is a tormenting ***** that plays with you. She teases you with all the things in the world and leaves you wanting all of it. You start out in this world with everything at your feet. All you have to do is follow the path and do the work. For some this path is as easy as pie, for others like me this path well lets just say its like asking me to cure aids. Yes there is a Cure out there somewhere but as hard as we try we will never find it.
We are born here on this planet with only so much we can do some were born with the mind of a genius and others a mind of a fool we don’t get to choose what we get. Yes we can do things here and there to improve ourselves but there is no changing who we are and no matter how hard we try there is no award at the end of our path just broken dreams that we once had. As we stand on the sideline watching everyone else with their success and their life that we could never have, even though people believed in you. Its funny I don’t know the last time just believing in something could help anyone. Believing in someone is just them projecting what you should do and if you cant reach that then all you do is let them down when in reality they were the fools to think that they were helping you. All they were doing was telling you what you couldn’t do.
When it comes to teachers they give you grades based upon their belief of what a “A” is or what a “B” is. Every time they grade a paper each time no matter what they do they are judging you and they don even know it. You could go through a class and get “D”’s the entire way through wasting your time with a teacher who sees your writing as dull and inconsistent. When another teacher could see you as a respectable writer who knows what they are doing and could easily pass that class without so much as a struggle.
We do all of this so a “college” can give us a Diploma a piece of paper saying good job you **** you made it through our maze of classes now go get a job and use what we taught you. When half of this knowledge you supposedly learned was forgotten 10 seconds after that final exam you just took.
As I grew up in grade school I never was the straight A student nor was I just below that. I fell just above passing what ever that is in elementary school and I blended into the average kids even though I didn’t get the grades they got. I always seemed to slip by without anyone noticing me. As I continued on into middle school I can remember I always did my homework and I would give my attempt at studying and in the end I would come up just short of that “C” that I wanted and would always seem to be Labeled with a D and soon High school was coming my way. Nervous? No way I was excited to be at a new school and change my grades to something expectable. The only way I could get C’s was the homework which was over valued in the Grading system and helped me get a couple C’s but of course I would fail and would have to repeat two of my courses in summer school a trend I seem to continue for 2 years and as I realized I was never going to succeed in the long run of school so I accepted the “F” on a test and it didn’t bring down as much as it did when I fist got F’s cause I knew this is where I fell in life’s ****ed up plan for me. School was not going to be where I took control of my life and I would find it, as I got older……….
