Just ACT or also SAT?

Hello,

I am looking at applying to selective schools (Columbia and Duke, to name a couple that apply) that require either the ACT with writing OR the SAT with SAT subject tests. I achieved a 36 on the ACT. Would it be beneficial to also send my SAT scores?

Breakdown:
CR: 800
M: 780
W: 750
M II subject test: 800
Chemistry subject test: 770

Thank you!

No, only send the ACT. Why would you want to clutter your perfect ACT score with a lower SAT score?

For schools that recommend/require SAT Subject tests (even if you take the ACT over the SAT), then also send your SAT II’s, but do not send the SAT.

Agree with @golfcashoahu that you should stick to just ACT, and only submit SAT II where they’re required. Congratulations on such a great score, btw!

It’d be beneficial to CB b/c of the fees you’d have to pay. Beyond them, it’d be a complete waste. Congrats on the 36.
