Just another chance thread

Based on the following credentials, what would someone’s odds of getting into the following schools be?

Credentials:

 • 3.5 UW GPA, 4.0 scale
 • Upward trend in grades (3.2 freshman, 3.66 sophomore, 3.75 junior)
 • Class rank unknown
 • 29 ACT
 • 2000 SAT
 • 5 APs
 • Little/no ECs
 • Excellent essay
 • Resident of Ohio (OOS for all 6 of the following)

Schools:

 • Penn State
 • Purdue
 • Uni of Massachusetts, Amherst
 • Uni of Maryland, College Park
 • Uni of Michigan, Ann Arbor
 • Uni of Wisconsin, Madison

For their Computer Science programs, if that factors into the chances.

Thanks

For Penn State, if you want to be sure of admission, get the GPA up. The 3.5 is only a low average, and PSU takes the GPA as 2/3 of their decision. Also of UM - Ann Arbor you won’t likely get in with little/no EC’s. You’re going to have a tough time getting in to a lot of places without any EC’s behind you, so I’d suggest finding something before college rolls around

Ah, thanks. I’ll consider that.

Anyone else have input?
